My background
My name is Edgar and I am a certified Spanish Teacher from Mexico City with more than 10 years of experience. I have a degree in Hispanic Language and Literature from the National University of Mexico (UNAM), where I’m also part of a research group that focuses on developing methods and materials to improve communicative skills of foreign students studying Spanish. My teaching style
I'm a person who is always looking for learning new things about different cultures. I try not to teach Spanish just as grammar and vocabularies. I know context is essential when learning another language and I always start by understanding my students's needs and what's the best for them. In addition, my experience has allowed me to better connect with my students and understand how many different ways of learning there are, and therefore to adapt and anticipate possible problems they may come across. |
